Postcolonial studies is affected by the spread of networked computing and digital culture, such as email, websites, newsgroups, online games, digital art, and blogs. Postcolonialism and Digital Culture is seeking papers for its September 2004 issue, which focuses on the consequences of the digital culture for the postcolonial condition.

New HCS Course at UCLA
A new class titled “Physical Computing, Algorithmic and Reactive Art” is being offered at UCLA. The class critiques design and art in artificial life, multiple agency, evolutionary computing, reactive sculptures and robotics, intelligent environments, and algorithmic art.
INCUBATION3 Call for Proposals
Incubation3, the 3rd trAce International Symposium on Writing and the Internet, seeks to provide ideas, motivation, information, and discussion for the new media writing community.
